The water is warmer than the air.

Ocean Beach Surf Report 2/7/06

OB surf is too big to handle today. It is HEAVY!

Spotting from my secret OB perch, I can tell from there is so much whitewater and junk that even Superman couldn't get out.

Went down to the sand, there was was one novice looking guy trying to get out. He was just being pushed around by lots of big water and could not even get close to the impact zone.

Back at home, I am watching BIG peaks breaking off the shoals, then reforming into an exploded washing machine mess of foam and millions of gallons of water.

Lots of great sun and calmish offshores today. Great conditions, but no way to surf em' here.

POWER SQUADRON wannabees?
